Yes! Although we have the largest rental fleet in Florida, without a reservation it is difficult to give you the best service possible. We encourage you to make a reservation even if you wish to boat that very day.
Absolutely. Repeat customers are the reason we created a flat-fee monthly boat club. Find more information about us here.
We will provide life jackets for every member of your party (except any four-legged friends you choose to bring).
Yes, it is one of our major requirements. If you don’t have boating experience, we’ll make sure you know everything you need to before you set out.
By Florida law, anyone born on or after January 1, 1988, who operates a vessel powered by 10 horsepower or more must pass an approved boater safety course. You must have in your possession photographic identification and a boating safety education identification card issued by the FWC. Alternatively, you can get a temporary Florida boater education certificate online here at Boat Tests 101!
We will not send a boat out in bad weather. We are using different radar applications and a VHF in our office. If its a normal, short (15 minute) afternoon summer shower, we do not consider that “bad weather”. We will go over the maps and we will show you different shelters where you can stop.

A clean-up fee can be assessed if the boat is returned in excessively dirty condition.

REQUIREMENTS
Renter must be at least 25 years old, must speak English and must have a minimum of two years of boating experience. Renter must provide a valid Driver’s License and credit card with available funds of $1000 for verification (no AMEX).
Funds will be held, limiting access to these funds until processed by your banking institution (usually within 24 hours but sometimes up to 72 hours).
Credit card holder must be present with photo ID and credit card on the day of the rental. Those born on or after January 1, 1988 must also supply a Boater Safety ID Card. Failure to produce/prove any of the above will not allow you to rent.
ON THE DAY OF YOUR RENTAL
We ask that you arrive 20 minutes before your rental time to review operation of the vessel. If you are late we cannot adjust your rental start or end times.
An understanding of how to operate the boat once on-board is also necessary. If you do not have enough experience, you will not be able to rent the boat. It is essential for the safety of everyone in the rental group that the driver understand the safety information and operational instructions provided for them.
If you cannot understand or communicate fluently with the staff at Daily Boat Rental, we cannot rent you the boat. We cannot rely on an interpreter to give you important instructions in the event of an emergency or breakdown.
We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual if in the opinion of our staff a question exists regarding their ability to understand and follow the rules, regulations, safety instructions, laws and/or operational characteristics.

Deposit & Cancellations
MaviMarine Boat Rentals knows that things happen that are unexpected. Each rental will require full payment prior to the booking. In addition, a $800 security deposit will be put on hold on the day of rental and returned at the completion of the rental. MaviMarine Boat Rentals understands that life happens and changes to vacations has to be made. At the same time, we are trying to cater towards every customers requests and will do what we can to make everyone happy.
Deposit: $800
Each rental will require a deposit that covers the insurance deductible. Damage to the boat and equipment happens when least expected. That damage sometimes costs more than the deductible. If that occurs during your rental, the security deposit will be kept. However, if the repair to the boat does not exceed the security deposit, then the deposit will be used for the repairs and the remaining balance will be returned. Bay Area Boat Rentals reserves the right to chose who makes the repairs.
Cancellations
- As long as the rental is cancelled greater than 30 days in advance, you will receive a full refund of your payment (processing fees apply).
- If you have to cancel your reservation between 7 and 30 days, half of your payment will be returned (processing fees apply).
- If you have to cancel within 7 days of your rental, there will be no refund.
